The Raytown Main Street Association (RMSA) is Raytown’s own Downtown Redevelopment and Promotions organization. Founded in 2007, RMSA has been front and center in bringing Raytown residents into the downtown area through promotions, events, and cooperative efforts to make our community a place where people want to be.
Over the past four decades, the Main Street movement has transformed the way communities think about the revitalization of their historic downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts, and helped put historic preservation back in the community revitalization conversation. Cities and towns across the nation have come to see that a vibrant, sustainable community is only as healthy as its core.
